I have to admit that while I love video games, particularly the classics of the 80's, I never really gained what might be considered "expert" status with any of them. Generally, I'd drop enough quarters into them until I got somewhat "good" with them (some of them, anyway). So while I know a lot about video games and even built a career out of creating them, I'll never be the champion like some of the folks who make the annual pilgrimage to the Videogame Tournament at Funspot.
But you know what? It's just a game and games are meant to be fun. These games have brought me a lot of fun, and it's good to know that there are people out there dedicated to keeping the spirit alive.
