As promised, I want to tell you a little something about a game you may not have heard about. It's called
Brikwars. It's played with those little plastic contsruction toys known as L**o. Players use the toys to build elaborate armies, buildings, etc. and then use dice and rulers to have them battle. Considering the fact that the warriors are little plastic guys with yellow heads and permanent smiles, many of the battles are waged with tongue firmly in cheek. But there's something exciting about playing a wargame with fighting units that you can hold in your hand in a landscape with three dimensions. It's even better that you can do this with resources that don't require painting and can be easily disassembled and reassembled at your whim (and cost a fraction of what components for those other miniatures wargames require). In fact, you may have the makings of a
Brikwars battle in your house at this very minute.
If the Brikwars rules appear a little daunting, there's also
Quikwars. Check it out!
