Nothing like a little
blazing fire to keep the holidays warm.
Over the last few days, New England was hit hard by ice storms. Fortunately, all we got was a lot of rain. So we're happy to have warmth and electricity while so many others are struggling to make do.

Hey folks! We had some snow this morning. The dog made shoveling the driveway difficult.
I kid you not.
As I mentioned in the title, the holidays are on their way. Heck, they may already be here. I took my first trip to New York City yesterday. It was interesting, to say the least. We saw some of the windows that the stores were offering. Not so sure about the crowds - that was kind of crazy. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to visiting again someday.
And since it's the holidays, let me leave you with "Another Christmas song" performed by Stephen Colbert.
